Dr. Terri L. Power

Terri has been a professional performance artist and theatre scholar for over three decades. She worked and taught in Los Angeles, New York, and the UK under Equity, SAG/AFTRA, AGVA, and IATSE entertainment contracts with companies such as Disney, Universal Studios, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. Terri holds several degrees in Theatre and Drama from UCLA and the University of Exeter where she was awarded a PhD in 2010. She has authored and contributed to books on acting and Shakespeare, and has taught, coached, directed, and produced in a variety of contexts across ages and communities. She is a current member of the Dunedin Writers Group, loves being in nature and gardening, and is very excited to work with the students, parents, teachers and staff at East Lake High School!
